Hello, I’m hoping you can help me.
I was given a Grundig Mandello 2/U solid-state console and can’t find much information about it.
I was wondering if you had or knew a good source for a copy of the manual and or basic restoration parts; things like bulbs, tuner strings, etc.
I appreciate any assistance you can offer.

Hi Chris,
This Mandello 2/U is very close to the version that you have and I’d even venture to guess that it’s very close:

If you become a member of the site, you can get the schematics.
The main things that need restoration are the big electrolytic capacitors.
Overall, those solid state machines are excellent and require not too much restoration. The turntable probably needs a good cleaning and you the cartridge/needle combo might be bad, but don’t assume so until you try it out.
